James H. Hada earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from Northwestern University in 1986. He earned his Juris Doctorate in 1989 from St. Mary's University School of Law. After graduating from law school, Jim joined the firm of Fouts & Moore where he practiced general commercial litigation. He then joined J & R Drilling Company, Inc. where he was Vice-President and General Counsel. After selling the company, Jim opened his own practice specializing in commercial litigation and personal injury trial work. The practice developed into the law firm of Whittle, Gonzales, Hada & Capelo where he was head of the litigation department focusing on commercial litigation, personal injury litigation and environmental law. Mr. Hada relocated to Dallas where he was Vice-President and General Counsel for a construction company with operations throughout the southern United States. Mr. Hada focused on regulatory compliance, safety protocol, employee relations and loss control. Mr. Hada was then hired to be the Vice-President and General Counsel for a start up company specializing in regulatory compliance for companies engaged in construction, excavating operations, steel erection, trucking and manufacturing. Mr. Hada then formed the law offices of Rasco & Hada specializing in mass torts, general civil litigation and personal injury litigation. Jim then was a partner in the Watts Law Firm LLP and later Watts Guerra Craft LLP, first in their Corpus Christi office and then in their Houston office specializing in products liability cases, trucking cases, drilling rig injury cases, workpalce injuries, automotive and tire defect lititgation as well as commercial litigation cases.

Mr. Hada is currently licensed to practice in the state courts of Texas, New Mexico and Florida and before the United States District Courts in the Northern, Eastern, Western, and Southern Districts of Texas. He is also Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Personal Injury Trial Law. Mr. Hada is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the State Bar of New Mexico, State Bar of Florida, the Corpus Christi Bar Association, the Houston Bar Association, the Attorneys' Information Exchange Group (AIEG) and the Texas Trial Lawyers' Association (TTLA).
Jim's practice focuses on products liability cases, trucking cases, drilling rig injury cases, workpalce injuries, automotive and tire defect lititgation as well as commercial litigation cases.. Due to Jim's tenacity he has secured significant verdicts and settlements for his clients.
Some of his notable trial verdicts are; Carlos Marroquin, et al vs. Ford Motor Company ($42,010,877) and Art Bustos, et al vs. Hyundai Motor Company ($4,200,000). Some of his notable recoveries include $5,500,000 for a workplace accident involving the death of a welder that settled for $10,000,000 within 7 months of the date of the accident; $2,000,000 in Graciela Sanchez, et. all. vs. Ace Hardware Corporation, et. al. for the death of Ms. Sanchez' husband settled within 10 months of the accident; $6,000,000 in Rosie Potts and Shyreece Kuykendall, Individually, as Dependent Administrator of the Estate of Pheabie White, et. al. vs. SNL Distribution Services Corp. and Roy Johnson; as well as numerous confidential settlements with several Fortune 500 companies.
